Radius Assures Clients of World-Class Service Handled by a World-Class Workforce
September 16, 2015
Radius Telecoms, Inc. announced last August 2015 its new Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) engineers. The CCNA Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize their investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of the employer's network. CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. The CCNA Routing and Switching validates a globally accepted ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.
Currently, Radius has both CCNAs and CCNPs. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification for engineers validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions. The CCNP Routing and Switching certification is appropriate for those with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Those with certifications pm CCNP Routing and Switching have demonstrated the skills required in enterprise roles such as network engineer, support engineer, systems engineer or network technician. The routing and switching protocol knowledge from this certification will provide a lasting foundation as these skills are equally relevant in the physical networks of today and the virtualized network functions of tomorrow.
Last June 2015, more engineers became Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT). CFOT is a certification for general fiber optics applications. CFOTs have essential knowledge, skills and enhanced capabilities in fiber optics that can be applied to almost any applications - design, installation, and operation. CFOTs are recognized to achieve a level of competence in the fiber optics field. For the end user looking for competent fiber optic personnel, it is the knowledge that this person has demonstrated knowledge and ability in the field and, perhaps even has documented experience. For the vendor of fiber optic products, it offers a technically- qualified pool of employees as well as contractors to recommend to end user customers who need to find installers for their networks.
Just this September, we have engineers who became Certified Data Centre Professionals (CDCP). CDCP is a training course designed to expose participants to the key components of data center. It tackles how to set-up and improve key aspects such as power, cooling, security, cabling, safety to ensure a high-available data center. It also addresses key operations and maintenance aspects.
With its MEF Certifications and active membership, Radius continues to adhere to its standards by having Metro Ethernet Forum-Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP) who completed all 10 content sections of the exam. Conducted in Malaysia last 2013, this certification assures our clients that we are aligned with MEF global standards for Carrier Ethernet. And before this year ends, Radius will be sending more engineers for the MEF-CECP exam.
Radius is committed to enhance its services and its people to serve its clients better. With these certifications, we can assure our clients that the expertise, skills, knowledge, and level of competence of our engineers are beyond the industry’s standard.
