Radius at the International Telecoms Week 2019
July 12, 2019
This year’s International Telecoms Week (ITW) took place at the Hyatt Regency & Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia last June 23-26, 2019 for the first time since moving from its long time host city Chicago. ITW has grown dramatically through the years, becoming the most anticipated telecommunications event for the global wholesale telecoms industry, providing a platform for 7,000 delegates from 2,000 companies and more than 135 countries to meet and discuss the latest marketing trends and innovations.
This year’s conference tackled many interesting topics including Zero Touch Network, a next-generation management system that leverages the principles of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). 5G: the next-generation of mobile internet connectivity, offering faster speeds and more reliable connections on smartphones and other devices. Network security, mitigating security threats to address the rise of DDoS attacks.
During the conference, Radius team met both existing and potential international carrier partners represented by their executives. Radius shared its strategic plan in expanding its coverage and fiber footprint locally and internationally, and its product roadmap on VAS to complement its connectivity solutions.
The ITW enlightened its participants of the major trends of the telecommunication industry today and the possible challenges they may encounter in the future. Radius, as part of its response to the evolving telecommunications landscape, will continue its efforts to enhance its network and further strengthen business relationships with major carrier partners, and in creating products to cater to advanced communication needs of its partners and clients.
