Radius at PTC 2019 "From Pipes to Platforms"

Radius recently attended the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s Annual Conference (PTC), held at Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii last January 20-23, 2019. The PTC is an annual event that brings together over 7,600 senior executives from the telecommunications industry, providing them with an opportunity to meet, discuss business strategies, explore new partnerships and share insights on the latest industry trends and technologies.
This year’s conference focused on the creation of interconnected telecom platforms allowing for enhanced growth in the digital age. The event covered a wide range of keynotes including topics on how the IoT market plays an important role for telecom growth over the next few years, network innovations particularly on how SDN is slowly replacing traditional networks, and expansion of undersea networks, its growth drivers and the challenges it faces.
During the three-day event, Radius met with a number of international companies, accumulating over 36 fruitful meetings with the representatives of existing and potential partners. The PTC conference was a valuable experience for Radius as a telecommunication company, as it enabled the team to engage with global top-tier carriers, network providers and content producers.
